The Casbah was the perfect place to stay during our week in Puerto Vallarta. Warmly furnished, well kept, and fully stocked, it was a comfortable home away from home. And the convenient location couldn't be beat! ?The beach was literally down the steps; shops, excellent dining and night life were all within easy walking distance. ?Dollar for dollar, it was an outstanding lodging value and we are looking forward to returning to the warmth of Vallarta as soon as we can!

Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed your condo last week in PV. We had everything we needed there and everything was so comfortable and nice. There was always plenty of hot water and good water pressure which always seems to be a problem when I stay in hotels in Mexico. It was wonderful to go to sleep with the sound of the ocean and wake up to the sounds of birds singing in the mornings. The condo stayed so cool from the fresh air, we never needed to use the air conditioner. I hope we can stay there again the next trip.

We loved our stay at the Casbah!

2 of us stayed for 4 nights and always loved returning to our "pad." The surprises started on our arrival. You expect most Mexican accommodations to look the same - tile floor, floral print bedspreads, the same furniture and artwork as all the others. The Casbah was a pleasant surprise! It is beautifully decorated with a Mexico-by-way-of-Morocco theme, with rich fabrics and interesting artwork. Also, the layout works very well with ample storage, a logical flow, and even a built-in desk when duty calls.

The combination living/dining/kitchen is a relaxing place to visit with friends, prepare a meal, or kick back with a good book. The bedroom has a very comfortable king-size bed, and there is plenty of shelf space and hanging storage for clothing, shoes, and suitcases. The bathroom is a real delight, tiled in marble mosaic with a large, inviting shower and more of the "Casbah" theme.

The balcony is a very relaxing spot, accessible from either the dining area or bedroom. There is a view over Puerto Vallarta and the ocean. The common areas of Brisas del Mar are great! The sun deck and pool area are gigantic with outstanding views of all of Banderas Bay and a friendly crowd on hand. The palapa restaurant offers a reasonably priced buffet breakfast all morning long, and bar service in the evening. The small lobby (and part of the sun deck) have wireless access.

Brisas del Mar is conveniently located to los Muertos Beach and the old town area. Most everything was within easy walking distance, and cabs are readily available for everything else.

I would highly recommend the Casbah to anyone looking to enhance their Puerto Vallarta experience with something special!

The Casbah has an unbeatable location-close to a fun beach and close to the highway out of town. The rooftop restaurant is so convenient and serves great drinks, too. The view from the rooftop pool is superb, especially at sunset. It was lovely to be in an authentic neighborhood that was distinctly Mexican, close to all kinds of entertainment.

The Casbah is unique with a Middle Eastern theme in its decor. The colors, fabrics, and accessories reflect an exotic and Oriental mood, perfect for the clear, warm PV days and nights.
